It's happened before, it will happen again, I have left it far too long without writing anything here.
I'll apologise, but scroll down and see how many times i've apologised for months of radio silence and see what it's worth.
My return is marked by 3 things:
All other projects are ticking along nicely. but of course rather than completing them, i have decided to start something new, because: logic.
Last year at Make, lots of people were, as i understood it, sewing pieces of paper together. Madness. But it looked good. And if it made them happy who was I to question this behaviour?!
Some googling later, i found it was "English Paper Piecing".
At the time i had only just taught myself to crochet, these fabric clad paper hexagons looked like witchcraft of the highest order and were to be avoided at all costs.
A year later, to Dan's despair, I've given it a go:

- RuPauls Drag Race Season 7 has come to and end. Come Through Violet Chatchki, Come Through.
- We are in the process of moving house. I am meant to be packing things in to boxes. HELLO PROCRASTINATION.
- I have run out of wine and don't want to go to Asda.

I really want to make something out of the ugliest patterned shirts I find...
But I should probably finish at least one project before I start on that.

I'm aiming to keep adding to it and make a cushion cover for the new house.
That does however mean I have to dust off my Nana's sewing machine and figure out how on earth that works!
Any help on that front gratefully received.
